Hours of Work: 40 hours, full year, on-site, core hours 8.00am to 6.00pm, Monday to Friday (weekends and evenings required on standby and call out rota)

We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced Director of IT to lead the IT Team. The successful candidate will play a pivotal role in supporting teaching and learning, continuously reviewing the College’s technology roadmap alongside the IT Steering Group. The Director of IT will manage the data network and infrastructure, reprographics, audio, telecommunications systems, IT hardware/applications and will also oversee and measure the service delivered by the IT Service Desk.

 

The ideal candidate will be a willing, mature and dedicated individual with experience of managing a team of technical specialists. The successful candidate will have experience of managing a budget, project management, as well as up to date knowledge of data protection/GDPR legislation, maintaining data protection records, processes and procedures, including delivery of Subject Access Requests (SARs).
